Gary Carter MBACS
Gary formed Response Surveys in 2001 having previously worked for 20 years in the marine survey industry with one of the UK’s largest firms gaining knowledge on a wide range of commodities. He is regularly appointed for his expertise regarding risk management and project planning often involving heavy lift or oil and gas exploration equipment by road, sea or air.
Martin is a hugely experienced cargo surveyor and timber specialist on which he has detailed trade knowledge. He has been appointed as a General Average Surveyor and Expert Witness with appointments both in the UK and overseas to provide expert analysis to insurers on major claims.
Niall M Bennet,
BSc, MSc, MBACS
Niall has had a varied career having worked in Lagos, Nigeria surveying damage to ships and cargoes. He has also worked in The Netherlands before returning to his native Scotland. Niall’s experience extends to on-off hire surveys, machinery and pre-shipment surveys, bulk cargoes, general containerised cargoes and refrigerated goods.
Captain D. C. L. Slack
David went to sea in 1976 with P&O in the British Merchant Navy and after returning ashore in 1987 worked as a ship planner and dangerous goods safety advisor. He is now a seasoned heavy lift and project cargo specialist, surveyor and consultant with detailed knowledge of planning, co-ordinating and loading of a range of cargoes including power generation equipment, wind turbines and dangerous goods.
